Keighley Chef Jailed For 18 Months

A Keighley chef who refused to name those he claimed had given free accommodation in return for tending a cannabis farm has been jailed

Polish national Patryk Dros had been arrested last year following a drugs squad raid on the property, on Victoria Street

They found nearly ninety cannabis plants under cultivation, which were estimated to have a street value in the region of twenty to twenty-five thousand pounds once processed

The 21 year old admitted producing cannabis and extraction of electricity, having been caught red-handed tending to the plants

But he said he couldn’t name the others who had promised him a large amount of cash for his work for fear of reprisals

Dros was jailed for 18 months
