Welcome to ‘Always Different, Always The Same’, a show all about The Fall, with me, Evan Whitton. The format is simple: each week, I play as much music as I can from each of the 31 albums from the legendary post punk band each week, in chronological order (with a special bonus album in there somewhere too!) Not only that, but I’ll be offering behind the scenes trivia on each LP, diving into Mark E Smith’s best lyrics, and offering my own, passionate, even if not well liked, opinions, whether it’s good, bad, or just plain weird. It’s rarely easy listening, but it should hopefully be loads of fun! So, buckle up-ah! Here we go-ah!

Drystone Radio was established in 1998 as a charity, for the benefit of the community and the people who live here. Our fundraising helps to support our broadcasting and our training scheme for those looking to learn about radio.
As a not-for-profit all money we raise is invested back into the radio station and helps both support our day-to-day operations as well as ongoing upgrades, projects and improvements.
