Drystone Radio Supports Future Careers at West Craven High School

Representing  Drystone Radio, Our very own Brian J Wilkinson, was invited & very proud, to once again take part in the Year 11 Mock Interview Programme held recently at West Craven High School in Barnoldswick.

The event brought together professionals from a range of organisations, including local businesses and the emergency services, with representatives from the Police and Fire Service also in attendance. The aim of the initiative was to provide students with valuable, real-world interview experience as they prepare for the next stage of their education and future careers.

This marks the third consecutive year Drystone Radio has supported the programme, and it continues to be a rewarding experience. Engaging directly with the students was a pleasure, offering insight into their ambitions, career aspirations, and impressive level of focus and preparation.

The Year 11 students demonstrated confidence, enthusiasm, and a clear determination to succeed, reflecting positively on both the school and the programme itself. Their professionalism and commitment to shaping their futures were particularly noteworthy.

Drystone Radio would like to commend West Craven High School for organising such a valuable initiative and wishes all participating students every success in their future careers.
